Development Finished, New Megastructure, Photos of Mini, PnP Update
You know how all those video game companies are 'crunching' to get games out on time? That's what we've been doing! We're feeling like we're one of the big kids now.
Let's get a quick progress update before we delve into the fun stuff...
🟢 Development Finished!
Remember when we said a month ago that the game underwent some massive overhauls? We've wrapped up another month of extensive playtesting, balancing, fixing and revising company powers, and finalising events.
...AND IT'S DONE!
Star Tycoon has finished development 100%, and we've started prepping the files for print. The rulebook is getting a once over with our proofreaders, but other than that, the game is ready. Huzzah!
In our next update, we'll confirm which events made the cut, including the ones made by the community.
So, is the PnP ready?
✂️ Print and Play Update
Thank you to all our print and play backers who are patiently waiting for their files. Now that the game has gone gold, how much longer will you have to wait?
We had initially mentioned that we hoped to have the PnP ready by the end of June...well, that obviously didn't pan out...but we're not far off! Once all the files have been sent to our manufacturers, we can commence work on the PnP.
We've been in touch with Martin from PnP Hideaway, who has shared some good examples of PnPs with us. So, we're studying them and getting to work. If you're keen for an updated ETA, we're looking at the end of July or start of August. Thanks for waiting!

🛰️ Introducing the Matter Synthesizer
Meet your new megastructure, the Matter Synthesizer! Isn't that artwork freakin' awesome? A big thanks to Michael for squeezing it into his busy schedule!
This card is being added to the Promo pack. It's the only development in the game that produces a wild resource, meaning each time you produce, you can choose whatever you want. Neato!
🥇 1st Player Marker Miniature
The file has been approved and sent to Longpack to commence mass production. Here are some photos of the master piece provided by Longpack (the actual one will be yellow, just like the star on the box):
